My weekend in North Devon!

Well, I returned last night from a wonderful excersion to North Devon with Susannah, to her house.

Devon is such a pretty place. I really like it there. On Saturday we went to the beaches where it was a little cold, but really pretty. And we climbed up a sand dune because there was basically a river flowing through the beech and Susannah didn't want to get her precious Uggs ruined. :)

After the trek on the beech, we walked through a town called Croyde. Apparently, in the summer this is quite the tourist destinantion with people from the tv drama Hollyoaks making appearances. There were cool old thatched roof houses there and buildings that were SO old and beautiful... why can't there be more of that in Canada?

We went to another beech to check it out because it's less known so there are a lot of surfers, but it cost 3.50 to park there so we decided to be cheap and not. :) I took some pictures from a far.

Then we drove around for a bit more, had a hot chocolate and went back to Susannah's house. It was a really fun day/weekend... if you ever get a chance to go to Devon in England, I suggest going. It's got a coolest little roads lined with hedges and it's beautiful.
