Update:

It's been awhile so I figured I should update the select few people who actually read this on occasion with the goings on in my life. Obviously there hasn't been much happening, or I would have added a blog earlier.

I made pancakes on Shrove Tuesday which were tasty. People here call that day Pancake Day... obviously they have no idea why the day exists but that's alright. I'm not going to preach it to them. One of the pancakes I made was in the shape of an E. My mom would be proud :)

I didn't go out Wednesday night because I decided to pick up a class on Thursday so now I have 5 hours of class in a row starting at 9am. Not so fun... plus to lecture I picked up has the worst lecturer. She German and very strict and a hardcore yelling type teacher. In the lecture on Thursday, there were 2 girls talking at the back of the class and she kept stopping and would stare at them from a good 30 seconds or so and then she would wait until they stopped talking and start lecturing again. This happened quite a bit until she finally got pissed off and threatened to kick them out of the course if they didn't stop talking. Hardcore.

I went to Tesco today to get some food and shop to find something to send Laura (my sister) for her birthday... which is on Sunday so she's definitely not going to get it before her birthday. I always liked getting late birthday presents, it's like your birthday just keeps going and going. :)

Tonight I'm going to JC's (the pub on campus) and then to DV8 (the club on campus) with Kathryn and Susannah. There aren't many people around this weekend. The normal absentees (ie Julia and Izzy) are not here but most of Kat's flatmates aren't here either so it will be less eventful than usual. Oh well.

As for the rest of the weekend, I'm going to be doing some revision and working on various assignments that are due soon. What fun.
