My Beef:
You know what really pisses me off... when people you live with think they're above taking the garbage out or something... they think they don't have to because, eventually, when it gets to the point of overflowing, someone else will do the dirty work. Half of the people I live with (I know for a fact) haven't taken ANY garbage out YET. It's been 4 months for goodness sake. Granted one of the people is new and has only lived here for like a week, so I'll give her a bit of grace period. And the stupidity of people... this is their thought process... how does this make sense... Because the garbage is next to overflowing, I'm going to simply open a new friggen garbage bag and just leave it on the floor beside the overflowing garbage can because "I'm not going to take that out, it's overflowing" WTF! HOW IN THE WORLD DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!. So they leave the bag on the floor and put their garbage in that bag but no one else knows it's there because it's STUPID to do that. So the garbage bag that was overflowing is STILL overflowing and noone takes it out because the people who normally take out the garbage feel the ones who don't should and the ones who never take it out are just retards and don't know anything. So I usually end up taking the bag out (along with a couple other people... some of who take it right out to the trash and others who leave it in the hall to rot) like I did today after the annoyance that provoked this entry in the first place.
As I was getting ready for class, about to walk out the door, I hear Steve say something to Pugs and his friendlike... Why doesn't anyone take out the garbage... uhhhhhhhhh what a flippin dumb ass. You see, when people are to lazy to take out the garbage (or not going out at the time it needs to be bagged and taken out of the bin) people just put the bag in the hall to rot for days on end because noone feels it's their responsibility to take it out. I have taken out NUMEROUS bags that have just sat there because whoever removed them from the bin is too lazy to take them out themselves. So Steve walks by the garbage bag that I put there earlier (when the incident happened with the bag on the floor and not taking the bag out of the bin) with the intention of taking it out on my way to class (which I did). But of course Steve is all talk. He can SAY things about how no one takes out the garbage but he can't pick up a bag himself and take it out. I don't know how much more of this, for lack of a better word, stupidity, I can take... It's like they all share a half a brain and the rest of their end is full of air. As soon as I heard Steve say that in the hall I went out there (I was on my way to class anyway) and there was Pugs, Steve and Johnston (one of Pugs' posh friends) and Johnston said... at least someone has initiative. I felt like whipping him in the face with the bag of trash... that would have just been the icing on the cake... would have made my day... I probably would have got kicked out of halls... but it would have been GLORIOUS. :)
