Grey's is in ruins!
So I watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy today (twice) and I'm very very disappointed with the outcome. The place seems to be falling apart. Burke and Yang not getting married, Meredith and Derek probably breaking up. George failing his intern exam? Bailey NOT getting Chief Resident!?!?!?! Izzie telling George that she loves him!? And how could Alex be so stupid to NOT tell Rebecca/Eva to stay!? What is going on?!?!
And what's with next season??? Addison is aparently moving to a new show called Private Practice?!? I spin off of Grey's Anatomy?! And it's apparently with the same characters that were in the 2 hour episode a few weeks ago. And it's up in the air if Burke will be back?!?! The whole place is honestly FALLING APART! Why mess with a good thing?
September can't come soon enough. Here are my predictions: I think that George will do his year over as an intern... I think Richard will stay on for another year and work things out with his wife and when he DOES retire he should give Bailey his position. I think Callie and George won't have a baby because she'll be too busy with Chief resident. Meredith and Derek will break up because he hit on her little half sister. Alex is going to find Rebecca and they'll be together... and Christina and Burke... I don't know... I just don't know.
Little bit of interesting info... the actor who plays George (TR Knight) is actually gay and the actor who plays Preston (Isaiah Washington) called him a faggot resulting in a large controversy and now there is speculation that he may not be back on the show next year... although I think he will.
Gotta love Wikipedia for this wealth of knowledge as I wait for my parents to call me. :)
